Is Education Killing Creativity?

I believe that at some levels of education it is killing creativity.

Watching the short clip from ted in class really made me understand how much it actually does hurt creativity. Kids have different types of personalities and different trains of thought that aren't common and understood by most people so they say they need to see a doctor or be put on ADHD medication... that isn't right, I know as a child if I were able to walk around and stand up to complete an assignment it had my full attention, unlike an assignment that I had to sit in a desk and just work on. I think that during the younger age you should let kids learn how they can, most of the times it's different from others. How did you learn as a child? How did you interact with the teachers an material as a child?
